Bow hunting this afternoon I saw a solid white turkey. First , at a distance, I thought it was a duck. But as it got closer, several other (normal) turkeys were with it. The tips of it's feathers seemed to be a bit on the grey side. Intresting.

i've only seen domestic ones that were white.........would it of been legal to take?i would of tried for it, did you see a beard?

I've only heard of domestic turkeys being white. Was it all white, like an albino, or did it have other colorings?

I've seen PINKElephents after a bottal of " Old grand Dad" the next day !

White turkeys have been reported often. Seems no one has the anwsers for them , but they have a cross of some sort. Genetics I believe can cause this also...BT

Adrian,I've been with you on a few of those pink elephant nights,I remember one night in N.C. But i never saw the pink elephants or a white turkey

I've seen two smoke phase hens. Only white wild turkey I've seen was the picture of the gobbler that caused all the hooplah on the boards last year The two smoke pahse I saw were partially white but had some grey and black in them also.

I've seen partiaally white turkeys.

They were to far away to see if it was a hen or a tom. Since there were five or six together, I assumed they were hens. I will certantly be paying closer attention come April.

At a distance, it seemed to have grey around the tips of it's wing feathers.
