Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Have any of you ever seen a white turkey?

Default RE: Have any of you ever seen a white turkey?

My parents own a cabin in northern Idaho and every winter the wild turkeys come down from the higher elevations and flock together. Last year there were 3 white turkeys in the bunch. One gobbler and two hens. There was no off color, they were just pure white. This year hunting I've only seen one white one, from a distance it looked to be a jake. The fish and game trap them from time to time though. But the last 6 years or so its not uncommon to see a white one in a large flock from our place, as the white one really stands out. I believe the genes are there to stay in these parts of the woods.
