this fall has been an odd year. the flocks don' t seem to be as big as they usually are and they are a lot harder to find. we busted a flock of about 9 up last week, but that was the first time we' ve seen a turkey since the season started on nov. 1st !! that day we had one coming in until something spooked it. just go a few more days. hopefully i' ll come across some more!!

I agree, I don' t think that they have organized into the larger flocks yet due to the food abundance this year. I busted and called back in a flock of 10 one day which were all hens and then called in 5 gobblers the next which we killed two of them. Called in one more on fri. Good luck finding them. Pat

They seem to be about the same here as in the past.I did see a strange flock the other afternoon while bow huntin.Of the 21 birds 14 were long beards 3 were jakes and 4 were adult hens.Kind of an odd mix.I saw this flock less than 100 yds from where I shot my bird this fall and it came from a flock of 18,hens,jakes and jenny' s
