Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Switching from 12 Gauge to 20 Gauge or .410 for Turkey Hunting: Worth It?

I’ve always used a 12 gauge for turkey hunting, but I’m thinking about switching to a 20 gauge or even trying a .410. For those who’ve used different calibers, how did they perform in the field? Did you notice any major differences in range or stopping power? I’d love to hear what’s worked best for you and why?

use good TSS ammo and there is no difference. II just switched to a 20 ga. a Frenchi affinity III, shooting boss tom 2 oz #9 TSS. Kills them deader than raid.
this is 40 yards

I use a 20 gauge every year. I love it and never had a problem.

Modern ammo, chokes, etc your not giving up anything going to a 20ga.

Lots of guys getting it done with the .410 too.
