Best Owl Call
I'm looking to buy a new owl call for locating turkeys. I currently have the Primos Power Owl and it sounds nothing like an owl. I was just wondering as to what y'all thought was the best sounding call out there. Any help would be much appriciated

I agree with you on the power owl, bought one last year, tried it, and put it away. I had a Hunters Specialties Hooter and really liked it. Lost it, and bought a Quaker Boy that looked the same; it's OK, but I think the HS was better. Both were simple and cheap (which is good because I tend to lose a lot of locator calls for some reason, lol).

The only thing better than his calls is his customer service. Great folks to deal with. IMO

I use a pittman owl call but it is so old that I think they no longer make it. It allows me to mimic several different owl calls.....and they all work.
They work so good that last year my buddy standing next to me got buzzed by an owl!
Note it is not the pittman 806!
The Primos Hoot Flute is close to what I use. Allows you to move your fingers which helps in changing the notes of the owl call
