Ticks! Ticks! Ticks!

Now this permethrin, is this just an ingredient in the bug spray or what is it exactly because I don't know I have seen sawyers, i have seen uncle bens or just bens though.
I can't seem to find it but i read this a month or two ago on here. Basically the guy was saying that because there has been so little acorn production last year, that there were less deer and mice? and that effects the ticks, not sure if it gives them some place to go or the mice eat them. But if anyone can find it it was alot more interesting than what i just typed up.
Also anyone know of a way to refill the thermacell bottles of butane or a place to buy it cheap, I've been toying with a way to do it but nothin yet. Thermacell works unbelievable but it is rather expensive.

Mmm good thinking rpd. Everything's on YouTube.
A tip that I use is a pair of rubber huntin boots that come up to about an inch below the knee and that seems to be where most ticks are. It never find them on my coat
