Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

I found them

I think you'd be okay if you can get in and out of there 2-3 hours before they go to roost in the area.

I assume you are talking about setting up a "pop-up" blind.

I would prefer to make a "brush blind", unless you have time to set up a pop-up blind a number of days in advance.

Even my dogs get nervous if "something" is out of place during their normal walk.

Brush in your blind well, if you decide to use it..................

Good luck my friend !!!

Well I went back to figure out where to set up the blind. I use a blind in this area most of the time. I set up in a spot I never have before and it is on a bench from river bottom to planted fields. I did set up 200 ft from the field where they where feeding this morning. The blind is not brushed in but is place by some large sage brush growth. I should be fine I hope. I have set blind up along a fence row many time just out in the open and has been no problem but we will see. You never know with turkeys. Any way when I went back to set up they where off the fields so I was going to check on where I wanted to be. As I was walking down to check a spot I have set up at many time here comes a tom and hen. Well I just started walking the other way and left. Came back later and set up for Sat. morning. It will be an interesting few days and will hunt after work next week if I don't score this weekend. Thanks for the help.

Well it ended up I set the bind up about 400 feet from the roost. & toms where hanging from the tree I had to wait till they flew down. I got in the blind and they googled every time I called. I just couldn't get them to come up on the bench where I'm set up. I bagged for a few hours and will b eback late afternoon.
