what exactly is a grand slam ive been turkey hunting 4 years and never heard of one till this year at a wild game dinner and on this forum

The Grand Slam consists of killing all 4 turkey species in the US. You need to kill the Osceola, Eastern, Rio Grande, and the Merriam.

I think you are supposed to do it in the same season as well,is this right Arrowmaster or not?

No doesn't have to be in the same season, but many guys do go for same season grand slams. This is if you have the time and resources of course.
