Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Took my first gobbler.... Now I am addicted!!!

Default Took my first gobbler.... Now I am addicted!!!

Hey Folks,

Went turkey hunting for the first time this past Thursday (5/5/11) and Ma Nature was looking down on me. Pulled a permit to hunt some public land for the last week of the season here in IL. Took 5 hours of on/off calling, and lots of walking, but the result was a beautiful Tom. He weighed in at 20lbs on the nose before dressing. Safe to say I am now addicted to Turkey hunting!!! Can't wait until the fall season. Hopefully these links/pics work...

LOL! Got that right Nauticstar....But hopefully I will get one more chance to feed my addiction during the fall season in October. My wife and kids are cringing because that means I'll be driving them crazy practicing my calls for the next 5 months!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
