Default NY Opening Day Tom

Shot this guy opening AM in NY.. had him going on the roost. He flew down and circled up above us... we cut him off and he came in on a string... first bird of '11 season. Not the biggest, but he'll do!

Good lookin bird,congratulations on baggin him. The birds are tight lipped around here right now and gettin I think a little call shy as well. I was encouraged to see one struttin last night in a field that seems to hold quite a few birds but is off limits to everyone but the owner of the property.
