Unhappy Opening Day Frustration

Well the seasons finally here and we have a good break in the weather for about 4 hours or so but I'm at work trying not to be angry at my boss for cancelling my vacation for the first 3 days of the season. I put in a month ago and it was approved but just like gun season and muzzle loader for deer they took it away from me due to a manpower shortage here at work.
I am thankful that I have a job and I know hunting is a hobby not a necessity that is critical to having what my family needs but it is still a frustration after all the time I put into preparing and planning my hunts.
I'm just venting a little but yet keeping it all in perspective because the weather is going to be good for evening hunts Thursday and Friday also Saturday will be a full day of hunting if I don't succeed in my evening hunts before then. To add to all this my prime hunting area is going to be crowded with 3 more guys who the land owner gave permission to hunt yeterday. 4 guys hunting a 80 acre spot is going to be a mess in my opinion so I'm thinking about throwing in the towel on it. This guy has 2 sons who are going to hunt with him which he did not tell the land owner about. He is a real nice old fella who can't seem to say no to a neighbor who wants to hunt his land.
Good luck to all my fellow Hoosier hunters today and throughout the season and to the rest of you trying to keep dry in this wet stormy weather in surrounding states.

I'm sure there will be at least 2 Turkeys left in Harrison and Crawdford Counties Halfbaked, all I'll have to do is decide which one I want to shoot! My hunting buddy went out this morning and had two nice toms coming in about 100 yards out when two dogs came in and scattered them and the hens he had around the decoy. He wanted to bust them in the head with some shot but they ducked into a ravine and escaped with their lives but barely. Stray dogs and cats are a big problem in these 2 counties.
All kiding aside I'm fortunate to have a couple of back up areas to hunt with out any hastles unless they get overrun by tresspassers.
