This Spring Turkey Season I happned to sit on a Tick Nest. I found 8 Tiny ticks crawling all over me, have u ever got the chance to see these incredible nests? [:' (]

I wish i only got 8 ticks crawling on me when i get into a " nest" of them. Its more like 50. Try the permamone, wal-mart carries it in there sporting good section and its superb.

I had really good luck using Avon' s Skin so Soft to keep the ticks away. I put it on my skin before I got dressed, and it seemed to work all day. Guys I met who were hunting the same area had lots of ticks on them while I had none.
I' ll be using it next month to keep the mosquitos away during dove season. We have had some deaths here in Colo already from West Nile.

The stuff is called Repel with Permanone. It comes in a 6 ounce aerosol can that says something like " to treat gear and clothing" ... Damned if I reember the colors on the can, but I think it was blue with yellow lettering & Pictures of camping stuff on it. You can find it in the camping section of Walmart for about $5. Once it dries, there is no smell. I had about a half dozen whitetail come to about 25-30 yards downwind of me and they fed for better than 5 minutes without me getting busted.
