Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Swokie, If you have the money for a custom box call than go for it. If you don't have $$$ than my advice is go for a Lynch box call have had mine for over 30 years and still get the birds in. A good custom make I would recomend Tom Laska that I can speak for sure.

I'm NOT going to speak against custom calls. I've heard plenty that I would have given my eye teeth for, but I have experienced that a good variety of calls has produced more turkeys than one particular call by itself. I have my favorites among my calls, but it doesn't matter what I like. If I don't have a call that the turkey likes, I'm not going to get him. Its as simple as that. I may break down and get one of Mr. Paul's one of these days, but, for now, I'll just use the calls that I have-- some mass produced and some that were made by hand by friends or myself. Good luck, whatever you decide.

i have two box calls that sounds great. one is a smith sweet butternut and the other one is a putt's walnut. both are made in pa. they are priced around $21.00. but you should try any call out to make sure it sounds good to ur ears.
