Man nothing beats watching the world wake up If I leave my house @ 3:30 I' m @ my spot about an hour before light, even if I knew I' d harvest my bird at 9 or 10, I' d still get there before sun up just to watch, listen and smell a new day[8D]

I normally go at 4:30 on my days off and at 9:00 on the days I have to work. I also get more response between 10:00 and 2:00 than i do after the fly down.

depends on what tie it gets light, i want to be sitting down atleast 45 min-1 hour before sunrise because the birds are in the roost wathving the field and when its dark they can think u are a deer or some thening else in the wild also it gives 45 min-1 hour for them to forget about u before they fly down.

I like being in the woods atleast an hour before sun up. I have killed all of my birds by 7am.

I usually cant sleep the night before any hunt anyway, so generally I' m up by 2:30 or 3:00 and in the woods by 3:45, in my spot and set up at 4:30 at the latest. All of my birds have been taken between 10:00 and 5:00, but I dont want to miss something coming in early just because I wasnt out there

either being Deer or Turkeys i can' t sleep the night before or during the seasons because my adrenaline is kicked in. So beats sitting there looking over that clock a million times trying to get back to sleep so i get my stuff ready and head out to the woods before sunrise. My drive is about an Hour so i want to make sure i get there with plenty of time to set up and greet the woods waking up and hopefully hearing that morning Gobble!

i live about an hour away , so i get up around 2:30, get ready, i' m up there by 4:00, when the check station opens and i' m in the woods staking claim to my area...i was late one morning and wouldnt you know it, 4 trucks where i was the day before , with just one other truck...never again....and i like the way the woods sound and look when the sunrises, they come aliveand i do too and then there' s that first gobble of the a.m. .....just breath taking......
