Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Smoke Grey Tom's

Ive always facinated about killing a smoke grey gobbler, but ive come to realize that winning the lottery would give me better odd's.Has anyone ever seen one?Or perhaps was lucky enough to have killed one?I imagine the odd's of a bird living to see his second birthday, being this color, would be astronomical, from a predators standpoint.

I have never seen a smoke grey gobbler in the woods, but I did see a grey hen last year in Michigan. I have seen a few white birds here at home too.

I know an area here in Western PA that has several "smokey grey phase" hens.

Never have seen a gobbler like that though...

I have killed a smoke grey hen, and I saw a ton of smoke phased turkeys in South Dakota a couple of years ago. I even saw a jake, but I let him walk.

Last year I seen a frosted/part albino colored hen. But have only seen domestic turkeys in that phase, they're called Blue Slate Turkeys
