Deer seaosn is almost over, Will Turkey season ever get here?
I know it will, but nothing elase in the world, can compare to a Tom's Gobble up close.

Heck yes, but i still have our muzzleloader season to go and then nothing but turkeys.
The jake that i shot this fall gobbled back at me and it was so great to hear that sound again.
Turkey hunting never leaves my mind, deer season just helps me get thru till spring. Building turkey calls and locator call all year long keeps the passion burning.

I've got a month and a half to slay ducks, so Turkeys aren't my first priority right now, but, they are always in my mind. Come Feb., I'll get the fever real bad. If I have a bad duck season, then that fever will come a lot earlier. Only 3 more months til I can chase longbeards.

Here in NYS, our Spring Season doesn't start until May 1st. Lot's of time before I start getting excited...................lol!!! That's when watching your Turkey hunting videos come into play, it fill's in the down time nicely!!

This past weekend ended out deer season in VA, had a tom drop out of the roost about 35yrds behind me Sat. morning, and couldn't shoot him. I just watched him strut around and told myself "I will be back in a few months, and expect you to do the same."
