The jake I took made my kids happy, as they got to eat BBQ turkey burgers!!!!!! I laugh cause the only negative post on this thread has been from another hunter from my home state of NJ. Where 99% of the hunters will kill fawns, and lots of anterless deer then complaine after the season the the number of deer are killed. So whats the difference between killing a jake and a fawn?

We all work hard all year, we all hunt cause we love the sport, whatever the size of the game you kill is your own business, and as long as your happy, we as hunters should surpport each other and be happy for each other, we have enough problems with the anti-hunters, time to wake up and ban together
