That is jam up. If you dont mind me asking what size shot did you use? I am wanting to take my 5 yr old son with me this year and can't decide on what to shoot in his 410.

rolled him at 25 yards (I don't think David should have had his boy shoot that far, but it worked. When I cleaned him, the shot was dense. The gun had a 30" barrell. I went and shot our 410 after that and found it to be a tight pattern too. I think it may be underrated by most of us on this site. For the recoil and kids I definately would say that it is ethical to shoot a turkey with one now.
