I thought you all would like to share in my triumph. Though it is only a Jake, for a first bird, I am very excited. I hope you all like my pic.

Hey stuck,
The tail feathers look like they are all the same length from your picture.. Are you sure its a jake? Either way, my first turkey was a jake taken 9 years ago 4/22 and it might as well have been this morning because that happy memory is etched permanently where many brain cells have come and even more have gone. Way to go!!
