Kit makes a very valid point. I carry one slate and one glass call. Then I carry half a dozen strikers ranging from various hardwoods such as maple to waterproof materials like carbon.

You' d be surprised how different a single call can sound when used with several different pegs.

thats one nice cape on that tom did you mount it?

I have to agree most of the quad type calls are flat in tone and not going in my vest. I do have one that has no partitions that sounds relatively good. But, it doesnt hold a candle to my custom calls. I too subscribe to the 2-3 pots and a half dozen strikers plan.
