I could have had my second bird down on the 5th day of season. A bigger gobbler than the first one I took. I elected not to shoot and to bowhunt the rest of the season. Missed a jake after that, and had some real close encounters but never pulled it off with the bow this spring.

So 1 for me.

This was my first attempt at turkey hunting and I killed 2 gobblers. Can't wait for next season, I'm hooked.

This was my first year hunting turkeys and I was blessed with 2 nice longbeards. Can't wait for next year, I'm hooked.

i took 0 turkeys and 0 coyotes.
i shot 3 times at 2 turkeys
i saw 9 turkeys
i saw 3 humongo turkeys with long fat beards and huge beautiful fans
i had the best time of my life
i will turkey hunt next year for sure
i need to stop starting sentences with i
