Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

2nd time around with it, set up in the same spot for a while, and had one of the quietest mornings ever at this place. I ditched in in favor of some run & gun for a while and could not strike up anything. FOr as much activity as I had the 1st weekend, this one was the most dead quiet I've ever struggled thru. At this point the longbow will be retired, looks like things will be work from here on out.

Great story and great bird. Wow, 2 barrels from a 10 gauge at 8 yards? I'm surprised there is any head left. How is your shoulder?

Congrats.

Thanks. You know Bry, I'm suprised as well. I hit almost entirely in the middle neck region, with a few pellets hitting the head. NONE, and I mean none went into the breast, but his neck as still intact...barely[8D] Actually my shoulder feels fine suprisingly. It's such a bear of a gun weight/length wise, it's not too bad.
