I have used Knight & Hale, Quaker Boy, Primos, Butski, and Penn Woods.

out of all of them the Butski & Quaker Boy have bene some of my all time favs.
recently I have been using Primos and they make a good call & I like their stack mouth calls. I got a little turned off on them at the ATA show, not very friendly like they used to be & kind of just rude. I guess " show biz" as gone to their heads. I visited them twice on 2 seperate days & the same thing from a couple of different people.

The guys at Quaker Boy are always great and Paul Butski when he was active was a very nice guy. John Kelly and Dick Kirby from QB have always been very nice every time I have met them and their quality is first class. I also like David Hale & Harold Knight, good guys - I just wish they still fully owned their company as I tend to think their quality has slipped a lot since they became part of EBSCO Industries. I don' t recall seeing either at the ATA show which isn' t good if you ask me, I might have missed them - lets hope I did.

I havn' t used Penn Woods in so long I can' t remember what they where like, I mean this was back when Rob Keck was with them!

Honestly they all make good calls, some seem easier for some to use while other are hard. you really need to try several. I learned on a couple of old Penn Woods & Knight & Hales back years ago.

I' ve tried about every brand known to man.lol. I' m one of those guys who when he see' s a diffrent call I just gotta try it.Most end up in a bag in the refrigerater never to see daylight again but every now and then I find one I like.

When I started out Lohman was the only call I could use. Now I use Lohman, Quaker Boy, Primos, H.S. Strut and Perfection Calls.
