Am I Stupid, or Dedicated?

RE: Am I Stupid, or Dedicated?
Are you stupid of dedicated?
Such a silly question to ask!
I would attend your prom if it is your senior prom. That happens to be a single special night that you may remember for the rest of your life.
As for missing work, school classes, doctor appointments, or things of that nature to go hunting...
That is dedication without a doubt! When I was attending college to get my Associates degree I can not count the number of classes that I missed due to hunting season. The best part was that a number of my professors were also hunters and would not count my absences against me as long as I gave them advance notice.
I guess the best way to think about this is that any event where you only get a limited amount of chances to attend should be given special consideration due to the limited chance you have at participating in that event.
I wish you luck in your decisions of the future.

You wanna go blast turkeys... go get em... there will be more than enough time to break hearts later in life.

I think missing out on events that only happen once in a lifetime (even if lame) just to go hunting is a little short sighted. You'll get to hunt a million times in your life if you keep that dedication. I've missed out on a few things to hunt and yea you can't kill one if you aren't there, in the grand scheme of things missing a hunt isn't a big deal. Maybe I'm just getting old.
