best turkey shot SIZE..out of 3.5 inch shells
hi guys, i was just wondering what shot size is the best for the most nock down power and patterning. i shoot 3.5 inch mags, 2 oz. shot.,#4.my gun is a remington 870 express super magnum, with a super full turkey choke. i was just wondering if i should shoot a smaller size bb for a better patterning.
so what size bb? 4s, 5s, or 6s???
thank you!!

Every gun and choke patterns differently. Only way to know is to buy different sizes and see which patterns best.
I shoot Nitro 3.5" 2.25 oz of 4X5X7 and it is very deadly

i doont think you need that 3.5 inch, with a good choke and 3 inch hevi shot, you should pattern great out to 45 yards. what more could ask for

Especially if you are shooting a high density shot. A #6 HD pellet has the same energy as a #4 lead, with a greatly increased pellet count. So you'll hitting the head and neck with MORE pellets, but with the same energy as the lead #4s.
