Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Great White North Turkeys

Just a question for the other northern turkey fanatics out there. After the cold snowy miserable weather last spring, i though bird numbers would be down this year. Correct me if i`m wrong but in my area we`re seeing winter flocks everwhere, places that i wouldn`t even expect to see birds. Lets hope i`m right and the population is exploding.

The season hatch was a little bit later last spring. Most Toms where still henned up after the season. Then we had a dry summer that will help the birds a bit...BT

I like them with Long Sharp Spurs....

We had a funky weather year last year. The winter was warm and wet with more rain than snow. I think the last actual snow we had was in Feb, and just tons of rain after that. Kinda hoped that the warm helped more than the really wet hurt. It was a chilly spring/summer tho, so with the rain and cold, I'm guess polts only did so-so.
