Primos mouth calls?

RE: Primos mouth calls?
I use both Primos & Quaker Boy mouth calls. In my experience (limited compared to many regulars on this forum) Primos' Many Beards is pretty good, their Diamond Cutter produces flat sounds.
The Quaker Boy Screaming Greens produce better sounds for me, especially the "small talk". Maybe it's me, maybe it's the calls.
I do like their Truth Videos about...though.

RE: Primos mouth calls?
Bogobble,
Hello i have used both primos and Knight and Hale calls in the woods
and turkey calling contest in Illnois and Wisconsin 2002-2003.
And i can personally say the both dont suit me. The call is to large,
not just the tape itself but the inner frame.
I have taken 2nd place for WI and Ill for 2002 and 2003 turkey
calling contest, and i can say the best choice for me that is
and many of other hunters is. H.S. Calls (Hunter Specialties)
www.hunterspec.com
There are many, many to choose from, if you are jsut starting out,
i would go with a call with less reeds, the more reeds the harder,
you might wanna try buying 1-7 calls if you want to find the call
that will fit your needs.
ex. Split V, Cutt'n 2.5, Cutter, Kee Kee, Single D, Double D, Or even
the triples. try many calls and sounds, try buying a H.S. Strut
Mouth calling 101 video or CD Compatible.
thank you for your time and good hunting~
