Several really nice birds! What kinda scope do you have on your shotty? Likes / dislikes about it? If you had to buy another...would you still get the same one you have know? I'm in the market for a scope for my shotgun and trying to get as much info before I make the purchase.

Thanks for all the kind words. To answer some questions. I have the kids using the bushnell scopes with the turkey reticle. We sight them in at 20 yards with slugs (change the chokes first) to get the true center shot. After that the ole .20 ga is good to out to 40 yards. That is the gun my son Dylan uses. Nates son shoots a black powder 12 ga. The idea being we can trim down the load for less recoil.
You can see both the hunts our our web site www.northwoodsoutdoorstv.com
Taking those two out has been the highlight of our season up here. Lots of fun. I think turkeys are great to hunt with kids. Even in states where they can only tag along. The instint feedback of a turkey gobbling to a call can really entertain a young person.
You guys are the hard core crowd, you know what I am talking about.

You like the shot of bryan in a tie. I spread that photo all over school. Its nice where we live so close to work. I can ussaly jam in a qick morning hunt before school. But if it get close, its nice to be prepared. I wear my school stuff under my gear and do the superman in the parking lot. It turns some heads for sure, but my students know what I am into.
