Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Huh ?
I'm not sure what this product is for. I guess if you use your knee as a rest and have to stay still for a while it could be usefull, but I can't imagine ever buying something like that, maybe in 20yrs when my bones are a bit stiffer.
Your kidding right? These have been out on the market foralmost 10 years now, where have you been? I guess you don't turkey hunt much, because if you did, you'd know how valuable this product is while waiting for a bird to show up and working a call at the same time.

I think I'd sooner go turkey hunting without my calls than without one of these.
I wouldn't go that far! I forgot my calls on opening day this season and I was so made and frustrated. I personally don't use one of these...I have thought about getting one, just never got around to doing so.

Every time I think about buying one, I think about something else I need and end up not buying it. Do they really make that much of a difference?

They aren't the greatest thing since canned beer... then again nothing is, but they do make resting your gun easier. I'm with Grizzlyman on this one!

I borrowed my uncles last season since he already shot his bird, and he was going to call for me. I was amazed how much of a difference it made. I decided to finally buy one today, when I went to Dick's, they had them on sale for $4.95. They are normally around $10, so I didn't hesitate to buy one.

Maytom, with only 100 acres to hunt (most of it cultivated) I don't run and gun much, I'm usually in one the natural blinds that I've built in the hedgerows, or (if its raining) sitting on a chair in my store bought blind. I can usually afford a bit of movement to raise the gun. I also carry my bow 1/2 the time because we don't have sunday gun hunting.

I've seen people use these for other types of hunting, such as holding it sideways against a tree when they are deer hunting and it is off to the side but didnt see much point for that but turkey hunting it would be useful.
