I am still trying to figure out why he didn't take that hog with his bow, unless he dropped it or couldn't get stable enough for a shot!

I got an idea... since I figured( ) on tagging out this year on my own turkey grounds, why don't I come hang out with you!!! LOL You take the birds and I will take the hogs... and then we will have a big buffet!!!

My cousin and i decided to carry a couple buckshot with us. Our turkey area is seeing a LOT more hogs this year.

He did actually shoot that first hog (with an arrow), but it did not die very quickly, and while dying it made a whole lot of noise... he told me that when the hog was making so much noise it seemed that every hog in the woods came to the rescue, he did not have enough arrows to shoot them all...

Thanks for the help everyone! I reckon if one get's close enough to be a threat I'll just take 'em with some turkey load, and since it will be on private land, no law is against it. I'd really rather not see any to begin with though.
