i use a monopod like a shooting stick rather than a tripod just because its less bulky and alot easier to hide than a big tripod. i wrapped mine in cloth tape and it works great and it doesnt shine in the sun like some duc tapes will do. Im having your same problem with my camera, the back of the flip out screen is taped, but i think ill try that headnet trick to try and cover the rest.

i went to a hobby/fabric store that had some camo patterns i used it to make a ghille(sp?) cover for my tripod and camera. on days when i've forgotten it my spare headcover works fine.

here is just a ruff idea of what i want......the reason why i want to use a tripod is because i can set it up and just presh rec if the turkey is to close or if im video taping myself and maks daddy do you have any piks of that setup..man i cant wait for turkeys

I tape mine up with black duct tape. All of my hunting is done with archery equipment out of a Double Bull Matrix, but I still take the time to make sure everything is concealed with black or other dark shades. I usually film towards the back of the blind to keep lens glare from the birds vision, or film through the shoot through net until the shooter draws back.

what about using that shoot through mesh material do you think that will work?and i want mine camo...that way if we decide to get out of the ground blind but i get ur idea of the black tape its just that its a 50 50 chance that ill be in the blind or hiding behind brush
