RE: Dream Catcher
Tiger1; I have a photo site full of Dream Catchers that you can view at http://community.webshots.com/user/ladyforge I used to sell them at craft shows etc but it just became to overwhelming so now I just make them for friends and as gifts etc. I dont think I could come even close to telling you accuratly how to make one but I can suggest that you start like I did. I went to a craft store and bought a little Dream Catcher kit, it comes with everything that you need to make a Dream Catcher including the instructions with pictures. I enjoyed it so much that I went back to the craft store and found a few books ( more like a magazine) that had the photos and instructions on how to make various Dream Catchers. Well it all kind of just took off from there, I began to come up with my own ideas and started trying to incorporate using all hunter harvested or gathered items in my work and I also try to use recycled items like the old ladies mink collars from their coats that you can find in thrift stores. If you would like further help feel free to e-mail me I would be more than glad to help you.And I also do Dream Catchers in trade for hunted or gathered items from some of the guys around here. I have one guy that supplies me with all the turkey feathers and tail fans from any jakes he harvest and dosent want to keep the plumage from in trade for me doing artwork for him.Hope this helps you.
