Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Where in Michigan did you get it? I just got back from my first trip to Michigan for a hunt and all five of us got shut out. The only times we could get any gobbles was in the morning. Those birds gobbled, but would not come in. Is it always that tuff in May? We hunted Tuesday-Thursday in the Wellston area.

I'm not formilure with Wellston but I will say Michigan turkeys are bipolar, some days are great others are bad. The next time you come up put in for the area near Yankee Springs (Berry County I think) it is the best public hunting for birds in the state (in my opinion). I was hunting in the south west tip of Newago County and it is loaded with birds this year.
