I'm from Richland County, Ill. I can't visualize that part of the state ever getting a lot of press about turkey hunting. There is relatively little public land (maybe none at all in richland) and folks just don't seem to be as interested in hunting turkeys as deer. At $125 a pop for an out of state tag, I'm just content with sitting against a tree watching them.
