Sparring, fox, fisher, turkey - lots of pics
Made a run to check cams since I couldn't get out over the weekend and had a pretty good pull. I had found the beginning of a scrape last Monday when I last checked the cams so I moved a camera over it. Now I already knew multiple bucks use a scrape but I really watched them on this pull TEN different bucks hit this scape in a weeks time!!!
But to start things off, I had some tallow that had turned (about 50 pounds) and I put it out hoping for some yotes but the buzzards found it first and made short work of it.
But something I had never gotten a pic of before was a immature buzzard, look for the smallish one with the dark head.
A fisher couldn't resist the easy pickings either.
In a little food patch by my son's stand had some good action this week as well.
A small flock of turkeys
Couple young bucks squaring off.
Little shoving match
At night of course, but here's a bit better buck
A fox strolled by as well.
And after a couple months I got my 3rd fisher pics (this one with dinner) in a matter of two weeks on 3 different cameras.
Ok now for the scrape pics.
Couple little guys
The doe have to get on the action as well, besides I thought it made a really pretty picture
Young 8 comes by
And a few minutes later this 10 decided to "cover him up"
The camera doesn't make any noise but this guy sure noticed the lump on the tree.
Little night time sparring, these two happened by at the same time and had to test each other.
And something I would have never thought would happen two bucks working licking branches beside each other at the same time.
