Default true ky wildcats

last week on the 5th there was an article in the larue county ky paper, about some one catcing a picture of a cougar on camera just outside atherton Hardin county

the article read that there not any surviving big cats in KY.

this was captured at the time and date on the photo in lonesome hollow, and it is bigger than a large tom bobcat, and as seen in the picture it has a long tail, no bobcat upturned tail or chin mane like a bobcat

this cat at this place in this picture is bigger than a big bobcat

here is a nice buck caught at same camera and location

here is a big bobcat catch from another camera on the farm, notice the tail and chin main

Google earth shows this location 29 miles from the Atherton sighting, now i aint saying its a cougar but it is bigger than a bobcat when zoomed in on you can see about an 8-10" tail

The cat in the top picture has the color markings of a bobcat. The color and tail length do not match that of a cougar. A cougar tail is much longer.

Both pics look like bobcats to me and I have also seen several. Dead and alive.

In my non-expert opinion #1 is a bobcat

Bobcat, not a long tail we're seeing.
It is the cat's right hind leg.
