Cuddeback Attack problems!
Hey all.
I bought a brand new cuddeback attack last night..
Well I can't seem to figure this thing out.
It doesn't want to put the pictures onto my sc card. Any thoughts?

I am not familiar with that brand of camera, but here are a few suggestions, some of which you may have tried: 1)Make sure the SD card slide is not in the lock position. I had a card where the slide became worn from use and every time I either put it in my computer or camera it would slide to the lock position. 2)Make sure your card is compatible with the camera (not too large of a GB size). 3)Format the card in your computer first. Some cards if viewed in a Digital Camera will not work due to a file change etc. 4)Try a different brand of card. 5)Check your batteries with a digital meter. Any battery that drops to 1.0 to 1.2 volt and the camera will not function properly or not at all. New batteries fresh out of the package may have a faulty one.
If none of this helps, check and see if there is a software up date. Best of luck.

After a toooooooon of frustration I finally got a card to work on it. When I first got it home I only had a few smaller cards around the house (less than 1gb). I read on the package that it was 1gb-32gb.. So I just went ahead and got one of my 2gb cards from our cabin and tried it. Still didn't work. But I just got home and formatted that 2gb one and now it is working. Thanks for the tips!

Maybe I spoke to soon. It worked once. I took a few test shots. Put it in my camera and it showed them. Then I had the camera turned off and put the card in. Put it on 1min and took a few more shots but the pictures didn't go to the card. Instead I had to transfer over which that did work. But I dont want my camera in the field and only get 120 pictures before I have to transfer to card.
Is there a special time you gotta put the card in and take it out?

Cameras have to be in the off position when installing or removing the SD card. As long as the following are okay, the camera should work unless it either has a fault or needs a software up grade if one is available. 1)good batteries, 2)unlocked card, 3)formatted card, 4)proper size card: this one you have corrected. If you still have problems, I would suggest emailing Cuddeback. Other forum members or other forums may have some suggestions as well. Good luck.

In the search box type "Cuddeback.com" and click search.
Now select "Cuddeback Support".
Select the grey box "Product Updates".
Select your camera picture model "Attack IR" or whatever model you wish.
This will open showing what changes etc. were made and how to download.
Good luck.
