Default Woodpeckers and Trail Cams

Has anyone else besides me had a woodpecker destroy your trial cam? I bought a new trail cam about five months ago. Well I had it out for turkey season and the area I hunt in has a lot of woodpeckers. Needless to say they pecked the lense out of my trail cam. Its gonna cost me $35 to have it fixed. Wildgame won't sell me the parts to fix it myself. I tried making a lense for it but it still don't work. It seems the pecker may have done more damage.

I've had about everything invade my cams but the woodpecker is a new one on me. You say you have alot of them in your area. I don't know what you would do to keep them away. Good luck.

Blessings......Pastorjim

I've had them right next to me while I was turkey hunting. I'm afraid it may happen again. I'll go broke getting my cameras fixed.
