Default Strange buck on Trail Camera... thoughts?

Got this pic last week on one of my trail cameras. It isn't the best pic and I have since raised my camera up a foot+ or so.
This is the only pic of this buck I got. I am just trying to figure out what he has going on on his right side? It looks like an abnormal or damaged antler in velvet coming down his right cheek and down his head... any thoughts?

Could be...the 1st archery deer I got had a hanging horn ( he was really quite ugly). Here is his picture:

I shot one like that about 3 years ago with my bow. The right side had a tall forked horn with a browtine and the left side had a 4" long tine growing down along the side of his head that was still in velvet in late october.

not sure if this causes "hang horn" or not but as u guys know their antlers are soft when in velvet so he probably bumped it earlier in the year
