They are cheap at Amazon
There's a seller on ebay that lets you mix n match, instead of buyin 4 c and 4 d adapters they'll let you buy all 8 c or all 8 d. I paid 12.95 with free shipping.

Pnut have you noticed any difference in the length of time the batteries last when switching from d's to aa's?

i was going to ask the same ? about battery life difference with the adapters also.

I just bought them about a month ago so don't know yet.
I'd say they won't last as long but I haven't checked my cams since putting them out 3weeks ago. Doubt I'm going to be able to get down there this weekend either so we'll see what it did after a month..
