Pretty sickening to look at Mottz. Don't have any idea what happened to him but I had him in some pics from about 2 weeks ago and in this slideshow he seems none the worse for wear, other than the obvious.

MichiganBowbender did you show the DNR that pic of the deer with the butt problems?
How Much land do you have there to keep them bucks safe?
By the way I hate you. Your about 75 miles from me and I dont get deer anywhere near that caliber in my part of the woods. Plus I have no fawn pics yet

Got a picture printed up for them, but haven't gotten any one to look at it yet. Maybe have to send that in an email and see if I get any kind of a reply.

There's 160 acres total. If you can, picture a square divided into 4 equal quadrants. Now imagine eliminating the Northeast and Southwest quadrants being owned by someone else. That leaves the Northwest and Southeast quadrants that join in the center. There's no way to keep em safe, just have to rely on luck mostly, and give em no reason to leave.

As far as the bucks go, I was actually seeing a bigger variety last year. I had one pic in 08 that had 10 in one picture, but I'm certainly not complaining about this year....
