Default New ScoutGuard

Well, I did get my ScoutGuard for Christmas and I've had a heck of a time stayin out of the woods. I've wanted to check it every day since I put it out. LOL
I've been using a Wildview flash camera and the SC has really had me excited the last few days.
I've posted some pics below and while doing so I've noticed I've got my timestamp wrong. Need to get that corrected.
I did have trouble today with the remote and I'm going to email the company today for recommendations.
The camera is set up in the deep woods and I need to face the camera so that the sun doesn't factor in so much. There's also a lot of shadows because of the location.
I have seen brighter daytime pics from other cameras, but until I get everything set up right, it's not a fair comparison.
Take a look at the pics and see what ya think.

Yeah, I can hardly wait to see him next year.
I don't know what the deal is, but I see some really odd racks here. You can look at my signature pic and see another one. I call him Captain Hook. Didn't see him this season so maybe he bloomed into something else.

On second thought, I don't guess you will look at the sig pics since it ain't workin. Oh well, here's a link:

You said you were having problems with the remote. What is happening with it? Is it the old slim plug or the new USB type plug?

I wanted to format a new SD card.

I plugged the remote in. The remote lit up with the time I had set for trigger shots and the camera icon and maybe something else, not sure about that. When I attempted to access the menu function, it wouldn't work. After several attempts I just gave up and installed the new card without formatting. It just wouldn't bring anything up other than the initail icons.
As for the plugs, what is the difference in the two?
Thanks

Yeah, I've been trying to link to photobucket, but nothing I do seems to work. Kinda like life in general around here. LOL
