I'm very happy with my ScoutGuard SG550s, it runs for 3+ months on a set of 8 AA batteries, and it's so tiny (smaller than a dollar bill) so I worry less about getting stolen (I had to remember where I put it so it;s not lost in the woods)!

It's $200, so can't compete with Moultrie $90 for price, but you win for trigger speed and more settings easily...

RE: battery life
I just bought a new D40 today and went ahead and purchased the $80 solar panel too. I am hoping it pays for itself. Six D batteries cost about $10 bucks and I waste a lot of battery power on crows, rabbits, etc. I'm putting my camera out on Wednesday, so I will let you guys know if it works. Let me know if anyone has had luck with the solar panel with the D40.
