Todd. I get about 25 feet of decent whiteflash with my 41's. Always better if there is some leafy canopy overhead to bounce off of. The Sony S600 has a much better whiteflash than the 41's but the trigger is a little slower, maybe by a second or two.
The bobcat was about 20 feet, the coyote about 10.

Not only that, usually a quicker reaction time, reliabilty generally isn't and issue, and with some, [like mine], you can open the case, unplug the cam and take it on vacation or take a pic of the buck you just killed.
