Well I just put it out this week. We'll see how it does. How long do you all wait before checking them. I'm dieing to see what pictures it took.

i got a d-40 this winter. just put it out a few weeks ago. seems to work good. put in a week i'll have over 300 pics. most of them are empty (no animal). all the empty pics happen during the middle of the day 10am-4 or 5pm. i can't figure why.

Its probably getting tripped by the sun, i noticed it was pointing towards the sun in a few of your pictures.

Do any of you guys using the Moultree use other cameras too, or have you in the past. I use Cuddebacks, but the price on the Moultrees looks very inviting. I am wondering how they compare. I am sure the picture quality is about the same.I am more interested in trigger speed, battery life, and delay settings. That is my biggest complaint with cuddebacks is the 1 minute delay between pictures. There have been lots of times especially during the rut when I will get a picture of a single doe, and you always wonder if that buck was behind her, but you don't know because by the time it rearms itself they are already by the camera.

Thanks,
Dan
