RE: What batterys are you using in the Cuddy & Moultrie
Ive gone through 6 or 7 cuddebacks in the last 2 years, problem after problem, totallyunreliable. After getting a I40 moultrie I will never buy another cudde. I only haveone older model 3.0 cudde left and once that takes a crap, which I know it will, I'll get another I40. I'll put the pic quality of my I40's up against any cuddeback, it's just as good. Someone mentioned only using one set of batteries a season for the I40? I totally agree with that, ive gone through 2 sets from late sept to this january, thats with weeks of temps below 20 degrees and taking 3000+ pics, in warmer temps (above 30)you could go all season on one setno prob. Dont get me wrong, cuddes are nice, when they work like they're supposed to.

Barry1me, where did you find the i40 for $199.00 shipped with a 4 gb card?
"My I40's take great pictures...especially when you can buy one for $195 shipped to my house with a 4GB mem card"

I use duracell copper top, work well, but cost is high, batterys loose 50% at 0 degrees F. Why not get a .99 foram cooler at Kmart and add exrta insulation; paper, form or newspaper. I plan to go to rechargeables next winter as it gets cold in NS CA. Temps are up and down daily, but so far have captured lots of good stills and vids. I am using a Moultrie D 4.0

I am in no way affiliated with Moultrie. I just purchased a Moultrie D40 for my first camera due to price and to support the state's economy (Moultrie is located here in Alabama). Now I have three and will acquire up to five more before next season.
