I have a D-40 Moultrie, that I would like to hook up a 6 or 12 volt recharable battery to. The instructionsshow a connection for an external battery, but no cable is listed as an accessory. Does anyone know how to do this? By the way, I had to send the first one back to Moultrie for a bad flash and now this one seems slow to work and difficult to turn on for set up.

i have the 6.1 mega pixel not sure of model it is out working right now but my says the same feature just could not find it avalibe on there site i dont know why i think its not available yet at least thats what yhere site says but i love mine it works great love the infra red flash deer look right at it from about 2-3 feet and it doesnt scare them one bit i have had it for about 2 months and got around 250 pix i also got a programable feeder for x-mas that i love got the rechargeable battery with that and havent had to charge it yet goes off 3 times a day oh yeah all those pix are on the first set of batteries so they do last a long time

The D-40 is 12v, moultrie has their new rechargable battery/solarpanel for sale on their website.
