Stealthcam problems
My Stealthcam 4.0 just isn't taking many pics, I set it up on a heavily used deer trail and had less than a dozen pics after 2 months and 2 battery changes. Is this common? It didn't work when the temps were warmer either, it's only several months old, I think I'll be sending it back...

RE: Stealthcam problems
i don't have a 4.0 but i do have two 3.0 and about a dozen of the 12mm ones......in really hot weather (more then 100) i see that they don't work as well......
for the 3.0 though i have no complaints..takes great pics, fast trigger speed.......but one thing to note about the digital stealths is that i see they need to be lower on the tree then others.....really take your time to use the test function and make sure it gets you in all areas where i deer would be......also...if the trail is well used and "in the open" that trail could be used by other animals besides deer like rodents, coyote, etc...most cams won't pic them up too well......try to keep you camera in thick areas with little sign of trails and you will be surprised the number of deer!!
good luck
