RE: trail cam questions
Hi mooseslayer3.
Trail camera al basicly work in the same manor, some a little different then others. Basicly you place a working unit out either on a feed station or trail (a place you expect something to pass by). Aim the camera in the proper direction and then wait for an animal to pass by. The camera is triggered (the better cameras) by both an Infra sensor and motion sensor. One or the other will not trigger the camera, you need both triggered for the camera to take a picture.
What you need as an aditional product will depend on what you get for a camera. Most cameras will have a viewing screen to view pictures, but these are usually tiny and not that easy to work with. Since you have posted on this forum, I will assume that you already have a computer, a digital trail camera will work great with the computer. ou might need to add a CARD READER (for memory card) to transfer the pictures easier to the computer, but they are fairly cheap. Some people have actually bought portable picture viewers will you can download the pictures dirrectly into from the camerra. With these, there is no need for extra memory cards.
Good luck.
