dont use it, as I found out today, when I went out to swap my dig card, not only were my tree stands stolen, so was the camera. it doesnt come with any locking plate like others. only a lock latch witch as I found only the cut lock does not prevent it from being cut. the battery did last a long time with the solar charger which was also stolen.

Out of curiosity, I started up my Moultrie 200 this morning and did a diagnostic test. It gave me 003000 which means the infrared sensor failed, but then I did like 5 more diagnostic tests periodically after that and I got perfect readings with no problems. Anyone know why the IR sensor failed on one test?

RE: Ordered a Moultrie 200!
Well I thought I'd update you all on my trail camera situation. My Moultrie 200 camera + the 1GB memory card are working fine, I'm glad I bought them and so far they've been quality.
The down side: I've had the camera up since about the 10th of January right across from a corn-fed wildlife feeder I made. After I put the camera up around January 10th I came back two weeks later to see if there were any new images: nope, and nothing had touched the feeder! So, another month after that (late February) I went back to check on the camera for a second time: no new pictures and the feeder still hadn't been touched! (Though there were some mouse-like tracks by it in the snow.) Then, on the 11th of March (last week) I went to check and get the camera so I could charge up the battery (which was at 63%, not bad for not being charged for 3 months in below freezing weather.) To my surprise on the third visit to the camera, I actually had some pictures this time, 20 new pictures in fact! I was extremely excited the whole day and couldn't wait to get home to see what the images were of. That day when I did get home the first thing I did was check the pictures on the camera.
Here is what I found.
Squirrels.
Squirrels.
And more squirrels.
The camera had been outside for THREE months STRAIGHT aimed RIGHT ACROSS from a HUGE 50+ pound corn feeder on unhunted property. Out of those whole three months I got 20 pictures, half of them were squirrels - the other half were blank. No deer, no wolves, no coyote, no bear, and no bobcats (all of which are "pretty" common in the area the camera is located.)
Oh well, I'm sure someday I'll get a good picture of something. Let's just hope next time it's not all a bunch of darned squirrels! [:-]

Eh joey as thats my name but anywho good for you buying to 200 i got the same one and i finally got pictures as its been tooo cold and now its starting to warm up here in southern ontario. First off i just saved myself 40$ in film at walmart second you just hook them up to the t.v and there the pics are especially on a 52 inch thats sweet. But to make a long story short they work fine but as everyone says batterys die soon i go to the localdollar store and those batteries last a week. But i recomend the rechargable bat aswell as the solar. Thats my next purchase soon but all in all the cam is good as soon as i can get pics on here ill post som heck in one pic ive got a dove waching a dove feed in a area i hunt for deer and the one in front is a buck as you can see the bumps or what ever they call them. I LIKE THIS ALOT. later man hope this helps.

Hi guys, cant add to whats already been said but also have a question about the ir aim. I have just gotten a gamespy 200 and i can't get the laser to
work. What do you need to do to get it to function when you set the switch to AIM position.
